Arctic Ice and Gander Mountain's PermaChill Extreme Ice Blocks Successful in First Summer on Market

(Brookings, SD) In early 2015, Gander Mountain and Arctic Ice partnered up to introduce PermaChill™ Extreme Freezer and Refrigerator Blocks to each of the Gander Mountain locations throughout the nation. As the end of warm weather edges closer, it has become apparent that the partnership was very successful for both Gander Mountain and Arctic Ice.

As a compliment to its PermaChill™ Extreme Cooler line, Gander Mountain introduced two rugged and reusable cooler packs for the summer of 2015. The PermaChill™ Extreme Refrigerator block incorporated the same phase-change material used in the Arctic Ice Alaskan Series and was designed to maintain coolers at a refrigerator temperature for prolonged periods. The PermaChill™ Extreme Freezer Blocks used the phase change material found in the Arctic Ice Tundra Series, and provided them the ability to maintain a deep-freeze temperature in coolers.

PermaChill™ Extreme Freezer and Refrigerator blocks are sold in 2.5 and 5 pound units that fit perfectly in the many sizes of the PermaChill™ Cooler line already being sold at Gander Mountain.

"This is the beginning of a great relationship with Gander Mountain," remarked Brian Robinson, V.P. of Sales for Arctic Ice. "We are excited to work with Gander Mountain to help bring this product line to life. The PermaChill™ Extreme Block brands are not only a great accessory to their existing PermaChill™ line of coolers but are also a great addition for any customer looking to keep any cooler cold and dry."
"We felt that this would be a great fit, and this summer's sales of the PermaChill™ Extreme Ice brands certainly proved that to be the case. Gander Mountain did a great job of getting behind this brand with promotion and it absolutely paid off. We look forward to a long relationship with Gander Mountain."
