Torrance, CA – Dealers and distributors attending the 2015 SHOT Show in Las Vegas, January 20-23, gave the new Hi-Lux Optics five-series PentaLux riflescopes an overwhelming "thumbs up". On display for the first time were the first two scopes of the new line – the TAC-V 2-10x42mm and the TAC-V 4-20x50mm Tactical models.
Hi-Lux Optics riflescopes have built a great reputation thanks to the high quality of the company's products, which carry very reasonable intermediate retail prices. The durability, reliability and optical quality of these scopes are regularly compared to that of riflescopes costing two to three times more.
Now, the new PentaLux models will raise that bar one more time.
Both of the TAC-V models are 30mm tube scopes, and come with a feature-packed illuminated glass etched tactical reticle, complete with built-in ranging scales, in both inches and meters. The reticle also includes long range hold-over aiming marks in both m.o.a. and mrad. This reticle will take the guess work out of determining the range of a distant target – and provides the proper hold over marks for the shooter who knows the trajectory of the rifle and round being fired.
The new PentaLux scopes feature premium quality glass lenses, polished to photographic clarity, then have every air surface multi-coated to produce an exceptionally bright sight picture. A handy left-side parallax/focus turret makes it quick and easy to keep that target clear and crisp. For more precise scope adjustment, each click of the windage or elevation turret moves bullet impact .01 mil at 100 meters. The TAC-V models are built with a 4-inch eye relief.
The advantage of the PentaLux five-series technology is that it allows a wider variable magnification range without adding length to the scope. The 2-10x42mm TAC-V model measures 12-inches in length, making it shorter than most 3-9x40mm models currently on the market. The 4-20x50mm model measures 14.5 inches in length, offering a greater magnification range than 4-16x and 6-18x scope now available – without adding to the length.
Retail price for the 2-10x42mm model is $599, while the 4-20x50mm model retails for $689. Each is a lot of scope for the money.
Like all Hi-Lux Optics riflescopes, the new TAC-V scope models are built with rugged construction, to withstand punishing recoil. The wear resistant PermaCoat finish insures these scopes can withstand the wear and tear of everyday use. PentaLux TAC-V scopes are backed with the company's Limited Lifetime Warranty.
These scopes will be ready for delivery in mid to late summer, watch for them on the Hi-Lux Optics website at www.hi-luxoptics.com , or call 1-888-445-8912 for more details.
