Jay Stone of Duck Commander Joins "Krappie Kings TV" on Saturday, January 10

NEW BERLIN, WI (January 7, 2015) - Open water and the finest crappie fishing in Louisiana - two of Karl Kalonka's, host of Sportsman Channel's Krappie Kings TV, favorite things - will be on display as Sportsman Channel presents Krappie Kings TV, Saturday, January 10 at 8:30 a.m. ET. With the assistance of Jay Stone, Duck Commander and bona fide crappie fisherman, Kalonka hits the open water of Lake D'Arbonne in Union Parish, Louisiana to hook the main ingredient for a delectable crappie dinner.

When Stone, a mainstay at Duck Commander, isn't busy tuning duck calls, he's "gone fishin'" with some of his closest friends - including Kalonka. The water is fine on Lake D'Arbonne in northern Louisiana, but the crappie fishing is - hopefully - finer. Stone and Kalonka bring their angling knowledge and expertise to the table on a fishing trip for black and white crappie. To top it off, Stone prepares a spicy Japanese crappie dish - a tantalizing conclusion to an unpredictable fishing adventure.

"My impression of big D'Arbonne - was big time. Jay, he definitely knows what he's doing," admitted Kalonka. "It's just great when you get a guy who knows the best spots to fish. We had a great time on the water and I can't wait to come back to Louisiana to do it again with my buddy 'Stone Cold' Jay."

Stone, a former coach and teacher, has been building duck calls and hunting with The Duck Commander and the Robertson family for 13 years, earning him the title of duck call production manager.
