Sheep Shape's Rick Carone awarded World Record for Yukon Ram

Sheep Shape's Rick Carone awarded World Record for Yukon Ram-

Midland, MI- Rick Carone, Sheep Shape hunter/athlete receives the current North American Muzzle Loading Rifle Association World Record Stone's (B&C 168 5/8) and the #1 All Time SCI Muzzleloader World Record Fannin/Stone's (SCI score 169 1/8) for his stunning Yukon Ram. Jessica Young of Midnight Sun Outfitting LTD expertly guided the hunt. The hunt can be viewed when aired on Sheep Shape TV in the summer of 2015 on the Sportsman Channel.

Rick Carone, not a stranger to the outdoor industry was drafted in 1994 by the Chicago White Sox and played four years professionally. He was introduced into the hunting industry in 2003 as Field Editor and Videographer for Buck Commander, which he continues to do today. Rick also served as V.P. of Sales for Hard Core Brands and Bone Collector in Ottawa, IL., where he was responsible for complex sales initiatives, mentoring, rep development, strategic account management and led the entire sales force in a significantly profitable direction. As a father of two daughters, Karsyn (17) and Tyler (14), he was diagnosed with Stage IV Pancreatic Cancer in May of 2013. Rick was given a 15% chance of living past 1 year and less than a 5% chance of surviving past year 5. Rick refuses to let statistics rule his life and his fight against the disease has become so powerfully inspirational that the entire outdoor industry has come to the prayerful rescue of him. He is a man of faith and fights his battle the same way he has modeled his life; with God, family and friends which is demonstrated on Sheep Shape.

Sheep Shape explores the personal life struggles of four hunters (Rick Carone, Chad Hall, Kelsie Burford, and Patrick Scrogin) from cancer, abuse, bullying, PTSD and injuries from the war. The personalities will walk through their battles in every day life all while training to get into Sheep Shape with the assistance of their coaches and trainers. The story builds as you follow them into the mountains in Alaska, the Yukon and the Northwest Territories as they hunt Dall/Fannin Sheep to see if they have what it takes. The feel will be raw and the conditions will be mentally and physically challenging with real life emotions of blood, sweat and tears along the way. A co-production between Reel Wild Creative and Rusted Rooster Media, Sheep Shape's documentary/reality style will be coming in the summer of 2015! Mark your calendars for this wildly anticipated series that will have you reeling after each episode and hugging your loved ones just a little tighter as you follow their real-life struggles and triumphs.
