FMG Publications has recruited Tom Vorel to the advertising sales team representing the North East region.
“Tom brings a wealth of industry knowledge and experience to FMG,” said Randy Molde, FMG VP of business development. “It won’t take long for our advertising partners to appreciate his guidance and expertise in effective media placement. We’re thrilled to have him representing all of our brands.”
Vorel joins South East advertising and marketing manager Paula Iwanski, and West region account executive Delano Amaguin. He will be working out of the Chicago, IL area.

Tom started out in the outdoor and shooting sports industry 20 years ago with roles at Shooting Sports Retailer, Fur-Fish-Game and Police Marksman. He transitioned out of the outdoor industry for a decade before returning to the outdoor industry in 2011 to sales and associate publisher roles at North American Media. Vorel also worked for Carbon Media Group in a sales role where he learned, and was exposed to, many different and ever-changing forms of digital and video.
In addition to his new position at FMG, Tom owns an independent publisher’s representation company where he sells multi-media campaigns representing publishers in various other outdoor verticals.
