MINNEAPOLIS, MN: Bill Hicks & Co., Ltd., a full-line distributor for the hunting and shooting-sports industry, has promoted Matt Taschner to a new role of Merchandise Manager.

"Matt has been with us for 20 years, and I am very proud to announce his promotion. Matt will oversee all aspects of the Purchasing and Marketing Departments, and, with his team of buyers, will be ultimately responsible for all product that enters our facility."

Matt was born and raised in the Twin Cities, and has been in the sporting goods industry for over 30 years. Most recently he was Senior Purchasing Agent with Bill Hicks & Co., Ltd. He and his wife, Lisa, live in a northwest suburb of Minneapolis with their three children. Matt is a consummate outdoorsman that loves to hunt and fish.
