Chapin, S.C. - Ellett Brothers announces the promotion of Steve Smith to the position of Shooting Purchasing Manager at its Chapin office to assume the responsibilities of managing the daily operations of the shooting purchasing team.

United Sporting Companies (USC) Senior VP Chuck Walker stated, "We are very proud of Steve and his accomplishments while he has been at Ellett Brothers. He will help our buyers become better in their daily duties, which will make them stronger than they already are."

Steve began his employment with Ellett Brothers in the distribution center in 1991 and worked his way up to Senior Buyer. In 2006, Steve joined Pescador Apparel where he gained additional experience as their VP of Sales and later continued his development as an account manager with the Freedom Group before returning to Ellett Brothers in the Shooting Purchasing Department in 2010.
