Established in 1989, Outtech Inc. is one of the outdoor industry's leaders in sales and marketing and maintains a portfolio of brand leaders across the categories they represent. Outtech already has a strong group of over 65 industry specialists spread across three divisions and we continue to add new employees to the team.
Aaron Keller joined the Outtech team in spring of 2011 to represent a new Outdoor Division territory, including Arkansas and western Kentucky and Tennessee. Aaron has over 12 years of experience in the hunting and outdoor industry, first working in retail at Big Rock Sports and later as a salesman for Hudalla Associates.
Andy Shrader has recently joined the Outtech Outdoor Division representing eastern Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Delaware. Andy has a Bachelor's degree in Biology from Towson University. Andy has been involved in the outdoor industry since 1998 as a Sales Associate for Keystone Sporting Goods. He was awarded a Top Sales Associate Award for the past four years.
Josh Hassinger comes to Outtech to represent western Pennsylvania and western New York for the Outdoor Division. Josh has a Bachelor's degree in Forestry Management from Penn State University. He has been a valuable member of the Outtech Pro Staff since 2006. Josh is a lifelong hunter and outdoorsman and is excited to bring his sales experience to the outdoor industry.
Luke Winchell joined Outtech as a Retail Analyst, providing focused support for Gander Mountain. Luke will work closely with Kevin Rose to expand the opportunities for Outtech's vendors at Gander Mountain. A recent graduate of Waldorf College with a Bachelor's degree in Busniess Management, Luke served as the Captain of his collegiate baseball team. Luke brings with him a solid background in hunting, fishing, and the outdoors.
Steven Maupin has recently joined Outtech to represent the Outdoor Division in Illinois and eastern Missouri. Steven is a graduate of William Woods University with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration. Steven was born and raised in Missouri and has been a hunter and outdoorsman his entire life.
Adam Svette joins Outtech as part of our new camping initiative. Adam is a graduate of Northland College with a Bachelor's degree in Business and Economics and served as a Captain for his collegiate hockey team. Adam will be working to help our retailers expand their base with the support of camping industry leaders such as Brunton, Primus, and Taylor Brands.
Kristi Thompson joins the staff of the Outtech main office in Ohio as our new Office Administrator. Kristi has a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and over 14 years of experience in management and office administration. In addition to providing support for the Outtech corporate office, Kristi will take the lead in managing the Outtech Pro Staff.
Outtech Announces Retirement of Carl Baumgardener
Outtech is proud to announce the recent retirement of Carl Baumgardner from the Outtech team after many great years together. Carl has worked with Outtech for over twenty years, first as a member of our Pro Staff, then as a salesman for the Outdoor Division and finally as a salesman for our Hunting Division. Outtech thanks Carl for his many years of service and wishes him the best of luck as he enjoys his retirement. In his spare time Carl will remain active with the Outtech Pro Staff.
Jim Smith has recently made the transition from the Outtech Outdoor Division to fill Carl's position in the Hunting Division. Jim will be representing Pennsylvania, Maryland, & Delaware.
