ONX and Pursuit Announce Anchor, $72,000 Ad Sweepstakes

LUVERNE, AL- Outdoor News Express (ONX), television's exclusive original outdoors-focused newscast from the Pursuit Channel and MOOSE Media, recently added Ainsley Beeman of Monroe, Louisiana to its network anchor desk. Beeman, a Louisiana State University graduate, reigned as Miss LSU-USA in 2009.

As an ONX anchorperson, Beeman unites with Karen Higbee, a news producer and video journalist for WKRN News 2 (ABC) - Nashville, and Emilee Harris, who followed her accomplishments at Mississippi State University with positions at the Broadcast Media Group of Starkville, MS. While Higbee readily describes many of the most memorable sequences of her youth in Illinois as "Duck hunting with Dad and fishing expeditions to Minnesota every summer," perhaps it is Beeman, a native of The Sportsman's Paradise, who is currently the most invested to hardcore hunting and fishing.

"Miss LSU is required to represent the university at the Miss Louisiana pageant," said Beeman, who was recognized as Miss Congeniality LA during that 2010 event. "And other than the fact that it conflicted with bow season, I had a wonderful time with that great opportunity and experience."

"Outdoor News Express and the Pursuit Channel are fortunate to be associated with these engaged and engaging on-air professionals," said Rusty Faulk, CEO of the Pursuit Channel. "The value of ONX to Pursuit Channel viewers is proportional to the charm, the intensity and the integrity of the terrific people delivering its content."

In addition to officially introducing the current on-air cast of ONX, Pursuit Channel and MOOSE Media have also recently announced the availability of a $72,000 ONX advertising sweepstakes package. With the return of a short questionnaire, all manufacturers, media entities and conservation associations are eligible to win. Entry deadline is June 1, 2011; winners will be notified by June 5.

"There's considerable newness associated with Pursuit Channel and ONX," Faulk continued. "This ONX marketing sweepstakes is simply another value-added introduction, a free stimulus package that continues to underline the fact that, moving forward with unprecedented efficiencies and innovation, Pursuit Channel is certainly the top choice for viewers, content producers and manufacturers."
