Enjoy "A Cure for Cabin Fever" Day at Stagecoach State Park

OAK CREEK, Colo.-Are you and your family ready to get outside and enjoy the marvelous winter weather? The staff at Stagecoach State Park will be hosting a day that will certainly help cure your cabin fever. Visit the marina boat ramp on Sunday Feb. 27 at 11 a.m. for a variety of fun activities and treats.

For the kids, the boat ramp will be groomed for a sledding hill and a park ranger will be drilling holes in the ice for ice fishing. Fishing gear will be provided on a limited basis. Free adult snowshoe rentals are available all winter long to explore the frozen reservoir and beautiful scenery. Clif granola bars and hot chocolate will be provided for a warm-up from the cold. In addition to sledding, ice fishing, and free snowshoe rentals, the four-mile Elk Run trail and the two-mile Lake View trail will be groomed for skiing. Be prepared for winter weather by wearing layers, warm boots, a hat, gloves, and sunscreen.
