Las Vegas, Nev. - There's a new world order for CQB scopes. Premier Reticles announced the availability of the first tactical riflescope in the company's V8 Series: The V8 1.1-8x24mm. This innovative, nimble unit lets shooters toggle between two unique sighting systems in the moment, without altering firing posture in the slightest.
Premier's illuminated GEN 2 CQB reticle operates from the first focal plane from 3x to 8x. And when the magnification is set at 3x or below, a projected red dot appears. Together, this unique, two-plane sighting system gives shooters precision from five feet to 500 yards.
"The new V8 tactical scope was built based on feedback directly from the field," said Chris Thomas, President of Premier Reticles. "Having a more versatile tactical scope that could go from long-range to short range, quickly and easily, is a need, and we felt like our experience with custom-sighting options in the tactical world gave us the ability to meet that need. This is an extremely adaptable scope that we know tactical shooters will appreciate."
The US-built V8 1.1-8x24 is based on a rugged one-piece main tube that is 34mm diameter and constructed from 6061- T6 aircraft aluminum. All internal parts are precision-machined to matching tolerances, providing exacting performance, reliability and movement. All Premier riflescopes come with a fully-transferable lifetime warranty and are backed by more than six decades of customer satisfaction.
The new addition to Premier Reticles' tactical line of scopes will be available for purchase in September of 2011.
