Annapolis, Maryland - The Maryland Department of Natural Resources (DNR) Wildlife & Heritage Service's Natural Heritage Program recently completed a review of the Threatened and Endangered Species List in Maryland. As a result of this review, changes to the list are being proposed as published in the Maryland Register on January 15, 2010.

The proposed changes include adding 16 species of plants and animals to the list, revising the status of 4 species, and removing 8 species from the list. A summary list of changes can be viewed at www.dnr.state.md.us/wildlife/.
