Springfield, Missouri---One of the nation's hottest sports properties, the Professional Bull Riders (PBR) is coming to Springfield, Missouri on September 19th and 20th. The pfiwestern.com Invitational presented by Bass Pro Shops is stop no. 27 on PBR's elite Built Ford Tough Series (BFTS) tour, and it's happening at the JQH Arena on Saturday, September 19th at 6:50pm and on Sunday, September 20th at 5:00pm. Before the show, you can practice your own PBR skills at the Fan Zone at Bass Pro Shops, 1935 S. Campbell, on Saturday, September 19th from 10am to 3pm. Kids will love the free activities planned just for them that include face painting, a bull roping contest, stick bull riding contest and a casting contest. There will also be dueling mechanical bulls, paintball games and a prize wheel.
Kids and adults will want to wander through the PBR Merchandise Trailer, view the amazing King of Bucks mobile exhibit featuring 25 world record whitetail mounts, see the #1 and #20 show cars, and watch the great entertainment on the Cooper Tires® Stage from 11am to 3 pm. PBR superstars will be available for autographs from 1:30 to 2:30pm.
A special hunting workshop featuring PBR announcer Brandon Bates and Dickies DuraBullfighter Shorty Gorham from Noon to 1pm, will offer hunters the chance to gain insights into how to have a more successful day in the stand or field.
