This Week on America Outdoors Radio

This week on America Outdoors Radio we'll give you an on the water interview with guide Bob Kinkade who is fishing the Columbia River for what has become a rare opportunity to catch and keep big, hard fighting sturgeon.  Speaking of big fish, the International Game Fish Association (IGFA) is having an annual contest where you can win prizes for catching the largest of 74 different fresh and saltwater species to include three chances to win the fishing trip of a lifetime to an exotic fishing location.  IGFA President Nehl Horton will give you more details.  One lure you may want to use in this contest to hook into a big mackinaw, salmon or steelhead is a spoon from McOmie's Custom Lures and John McOmie, the founder of this company, will share these offerings with you.  Finally, we'll check in with Tom Carpenter with Pheasants Forever to get the Spring Rooster Report where we'll find out how pheasants are faring throughout the nation, and what insight this gives us for the fall hunting season.  http://www.americaoutdoorsradio.com/
