As the Sportsmen’s Alliance continues to expose the corruption prevalent in the Washington Fish and Wildlife Commission, hunters and anglers in the state want all the details and to know how they can help to protect hunting, fishing and wildlife management. What’s more, the fight in the Evergreen State is the canary in the coalmine for sportsmen nationwide.
“Animal extremists are using Washington as a blueprint of how to undermine hunting and wildlife management nationwide,” said Todd Adkins, Senior Vice President of the Sportsmen’s Alliance. “They’ve taken it to Colorado and have tried to do the same in Vermont, New Hampshire, Arizona and other states. This is perhaps the most crucial battle the industry has seen in decades.”
The highlights from a public records request, which required a lawsuit against that state to produce, were recently covered in two podcasts: The Outdoor Life Podcast with Alex Robinson and the Vortex Nation #10Minute Talk with Mark Boardman.
“The Sportsmen’s Alliance will continue to shine a light on this corruption, and will continue to use our litigation team to pursue every legal option available to us,” said Adkins.
The Sportsmen’s Alliance guarantees hunting, fishing and trapping for the American sportsman now and forever. We’re there when sportsmen need us most. We are the only organization specifically created to protect the individual hunter, angler, and trapper – no matter the threat. We will never compromise when it comes to defending our way of life in the courts, in the legislatures, in the public square and at the ballot box. We make this promise to the American sportsman: we will never give up and never give in while proudly securing our future against those seeking to destroy our values, beliefs, and traditions.
