Tennessee S3DA is pleased to announce Amy Hubble as the new State Coordinator for the Tennessee Scholastic 3-D Archery program. A lifelong resident of Mt. Juliet, Amy brings a deep passion for archery, family, and community to this new leadership role. Aside from her role in S3DA, Amy homeschools her children and works as a bookkeeper for the family’s HVAC business. She also teaches classes at their local homeschool cooperative.
Amy and her husband of 25 years, Danny, have three children—Derek, Dylan, and Kinley—all of whom are active participants in the TN S3DA program. The Hubble family is fully immersed in the sport, with Amy’s journey into archery beginning in 2008 when she picked up a bow to go hunting with her husband. In 2021, after their sons joined a local archery shop, the family was introduced to S3DA—and they’ve been all-in ever since.
As dedicated members of Tennessee’s Triple Threat team, Amy and Danny both became certified S3DA coaches to support their team and help grow the sport in their region. Their commitment has fostered not just competitive excellence but also deep friendships within the archery community regardless of their team affiliations. Amy says one of her favorite experiences is seeing Tennessee teams unite as one big team at Nationals, exemplifying the spirit of sportsmanship and support that defines S3DA.
Over the past year, Amy has served as a Regional Coordinator for Middle Tennessee, working closely with other coordinators across the state. Her goals as State Coordinator include expanding awareness of scholastic archery, increasing team development, and continuing to build a strong network of support across all regions of Tennessee. Currently, Tennessee S3DA includes 16 active teams and clubs spanning East, Middle, and West Tennessee, supported by five Regional Coordinators.
Please join us in congratulating Amy Hubble as she takes on this important leadership role in growing the next generation of archers in Tennessee. Visit the Tennessee S3DA Facebook page for more information on the program.
About Scholastic 3-D Archery
Scholastic 3-D Archery (S3DA) is a unique, family-oriented youth archery program which has grown exponentially across the United States as a next-step initiative to follow introductory archery programs. The mission of the Scholastic 3-D Archery program is to foster, educate and guide youth in the areas of 3D, indoor target, and outdoor target archery as well as safe, ethical bowhunting practices. The goal of the S3DA program is to provide archery and bowhunting opportunities to youth in after-school settings, as well as with archery-affiliated clubs and businesses in the community. S3DA youth participate in 3D and target archery using compound and traditional archery equipment. Youth members can participate at regional, state and national archery events and earn college scholarships from colleges and universities across the United States. S3DA addresses the need for a program to bridge beginning target archery experience and more advanced activities such as 3D shooting and bowhunting. The program currently operates across the United States with hundreds of certified coaches serving thousands of youth archers.
