Clean Drain Dry National Invasive Species Report

White Bear Lake, MN – Wildlife Forever is proud to release the 2021 Clean Drain Dry Initiative® annual accomplishment report. Through media outreach, communications marketing, and community engagement, the public awareness campaign has generated a record-breaking 117 million impressions in 2021. Invasive species threaten fishing, boating, and outdoor recreation. Implementing a partner-led and consistent best practices campaign empowers users to prevent the spread of AIS.

“Invasive Species are a national conservation priority. I want to thank our partners for working together to help make invasive species relevant to the American public,” said Pat Conzemius, President and CEO of Wildlife Forever.

2021 Highlights Include:
• $1.13 million invested in invasive species prevention by pooling funds and coordinating cost-saving services.
• Industry-leading Access Enhancement work to equip and empower AIS prevention at critical points of public access.
• Local, State, Federal, and Industry Stakeholder partnerships and engagement .

Targeted marketing and consistent messaging are key elements ensuring Clean Drain Dry communications are relevant to stakeholders and recreational users. Wildlife Forever, government organizations, industry leaders, state agencies, and local groups collaborated to stop the spread of invasive species.
