Hook & Barrel Magazine® is thrilled to announce the newest addition to its team, Niki Morrison, who joins as the Director of Marketing and Public Relations. Morrison brings with her a wealth of diverse and extensive experience in the media industry, making her a valuable asset to the dynamic and rapidly growing magazine.
Morrison's professional journey began in New York City as a designer at a prominent ad agency. Over the years, she has moved through a variety of roles, showcasing her versatility in marketing, art direction, branding, and even successfully running her own graphic design company. She prioritizes a commitment to creativity and innovation, continually pushing the boundaries of traditional marketing and media.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Morrison (formerly Jones) is well-known in the world of firearms and women's safety. As a dedicated gun enthusiast and advocate for women's self-defense, Morrison founded a widely popular women's gun club as well as a national magazine focusing on women and shooting, establishing herself as a subject-matter expert in the field. Her advocacy work has taken her to various local, national, and international media platforms, where she has consistently shared her insights on empowering women through self-defense. Morrison is also a Personal Protection Officer and a travel-and-adventure writer in her home state of Texas.
