Sauk Rapids, MN - Retail Technology Group (“RTG”), owners of AXIS Point of Sale software, launched a Retail Inventory Management Program to help store owners reduce operating costs while increasing inventory availability and consumer firearm sales. Dan Compeau, new to the organization, will spearhead the program with over 30 years of shooting sports industry retail experience.
“Dan brings significant experience in inventory management,” says CEO, Jon Rydberg. “To date, Dan has worked with over 1,000 retailers to optimize store performance. Augmenting RTG’s existing retail and compliance services allows us to continue providing value to our retail and range customers. The addition of a low-cost, high-value inventory consulting service is a win-win combination when delivered along-side our 10+ live wholesaler inventory feeds and the AXIS POS automated inventory replenishment system (“AXIS AutoOrder™”).”
Previously, Mr. Compeau was Director of Retail Development for one of the nation’s largest shooting sports wholesalers. Dan began his career behind the counter and became both a retail Chief Operating Officer and the aforementioned Director.
“As an independent firearms retailer, I have utilized Dan's consulting to achieve a much more efficient inventory system that leverages the AXIS reporting features to increase my profits while reducing carrying costs.” says Glenn Duncan, Owner, Duncan's Outdoor Shop. “He has been on my side of business for many years. He understands what reports I need and where or how to find them.”
