Bergara’s Premier Divide Rifle

Lawrenceville, Georgia – BPI Outdoors / Bergara Rifles announces their Premier Divide Rifle. If you love the Bergara HMR rifle but long for a lighter package to take into the backcountry, the Bergara Divide is your solution. Bridging the divide between a tactical and hunting rifle, the Divide pairs Bergara's proprietary Cure™ Carbon Barrel with a custom AG Composites Chalk Branch carbon stock. Summed up, the Divide equals an incredible precision carbon rifle package.

Ben Fleming, Bergara’s VP of Sales said, “The Divide rifle is appropriately named because it fills the divide between a lightweight hunting rifle and a dedicated long range rifle. The divide is built with the best components our team has to offer and comes fitted with Bergara’s new Cure™ Carbon Fiber Barrel. Our team pulled out all the stops when it came to bringing this rifle to life! I couldn’t be prouder and more excited in their hard work, and this rifle will absolutely shine in the field.”

There's still only one thing a bullet touches - the inside of a barrel. Bergara's reputation was built on the best drilling, honing, and rifling processes on the planet, and nothing was compromised in this propriety ultralight carbon composite option. The perfect mating of carbon and steel. Bergara cured the carbon barrel disease of inconsistency by getting steel and carbon to perfectly work together by managing heat. Cure™ Barrels are uniquely optimized both mechanically and thermodynamically via a proprietary, patent pending, carbon weave with embedded stainless strands that move heat. Every aspect of the design was optimized to yield an ultralight, stiff, straight, rugged barrel, shot after shot. The Cure reduces barrel weight by over two pounds, without suffering impact migration problems of light profile barrels.

The Bergara Premier action is a two-lug system that features a separate floating bolt head to ensure contact with the lug abutments in the action. It also features a cone-shaped bolt nose for smooth feeding of the cartridge, and a spring-loaded sliding plate extractor located in the front of the lower locking lug. The one-piece bolt body is stainless steel with a pad at the rear to accept the threaded-in bolt handle. The bolt head, the non-rotating gas shield, the bolt handle, and bolt shroud are fully Nitrided for extreme durability, as well as its self-lubricating properties.

In the past, Bergara has teamed up with the leader in custom carbon stocks, AG Composites, and they’ve done so again. The custom AG Composites Chalk Branch 100% carbon stock with adjustable cheek riser is similar to their HMR stock, in a much lighter carbon package. The stock is finished in custom Erosion Rogue Camo.

Partnering with Trigger Tech® Triggers allows use of the patented Frictionless Release Technology™ to increase performance and accuracy for the end-user by eliminating creep and heavy trigger pulls.

The Divide with be available in 6.5 CR, 6.5PRC, .308 Win, and .300 Win.

It weighs a mere 7.2 - 7.4 lbs. and has a 22”-24" barrel length depending on the caliber.

MSRP is $2499

This is definitely a highbred in the hunting rifle category.
