Lake Champlain Angler Diary App

The Lake Champlain Fish and Wildlife Management Cooperative -- a working group of fisheries professionals from the Vermont Fish and Wildlife Department, New York State Department of Environmental Conservation and the United States Fish and Wildlife Service -- has released a new Angler Diary App using Survey 123 and are seeking assistance from anglers who fish for trout and salmon on Lake Champlain or its tributaries.

If you’re an angler that targets Lake Trout, landlocked Atlantic Salmon, Brown Trout, or Rainbow Trout, please consider sharing information about your fishing trips. Data collected from anglers will be used by the Cooperative to assess the fishery by evaluating the contribution of stocked and wild fish, catch rates, fish size, and angler satisfaction.

The App can be used on a cell phone, tablet or computer. For instructions on how to download the app and record your catch, visit the Lake Champlain Angler Diary Program webpage.
