New features simplify replenishment and streamline order management for firearms dealers to ensure inventory levels always meet customer demand.
Iselin, N.J. – Celerant Technology, a leading provider of innovative retail solutions and a preferred software provider of the National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF), is excited to announce two significant enhancements to its Smart Order integration with Sports South. These new features build upon the program's successful launch earlier this year, further streamlining replenishment and saving firearms retailers even more time.
“The Smart Order program has already proven to be a major time-saver for our dealers,” said Cullen Gilbert, VP of Supply Chain at Sports South. “These new enhancements—especially the ability to pull submitted orders directly into the dealer’s Celerant system—make the program even more seamless. It’s a great example of what happens when two innovative companies work together with the dealer in mind.
Enhancements to the Sports South Smart Order Program
1. Two-Way Sync of Min/Max Levels: Dealers can now update minimum and maximum inventory levels from either their Celerant software or the Sports South Shooting Warehouse dealer website—and the changes will automatically sync to both systems. This two-way integration ensures consistency and gives dealers more flexibility and control.
2. Automatic Pull of Sports South Orders into Celerant: Orders placed on the Sports South dealer site are now automatically pulled into the dealer’s Celerant system—eliminating the need to re-enter orders manually and significantly speeding up the order process.
“Since launching the Smart Order program, we’ve seen strong adoption from dealers, and these new enhancements make it even more practical and efficient,” said Michele Salerno, Chief Growth Officer at Celerant. “Sports South continues to push the envelope—with innovative programs like this and their impressive, tech-driven warehouse operations. We’re excited to show dealers how much time they can save with this latest evolution of the integration.”
Automatic Data Sharing for Easy Ordering
First launched in January, the Smart Order program allows dealers using Celerant’s retail software to share their inventory and sales data with Sports South automatically. Based on this real-time data, Sports South generates recommended replenishment orders on the dealer’s Shooting Warehouse account, where dealers can review and click to ship. By using the Smart Order tool, dealers can ensure optimal inventory levels with less effort, freeing time to focus on growing their business.
