Chad Heckler and Doug Koenig of Team Vihtavuori are set to compete this weekend at the 2024 International Precision Rifle Federation (IPRF) World Championships as members of the US Precision Rifle Association Centerfire Team.

Competing in the Limited Division, Heckler will be firing Lapua 308 Winchester 175 Grain Scenar-L ammunition, which is factory loaded with Vihtavuori propellant. Heckler, the 2021 Armageddon Cup winner, was selected for the Limited Division, which has all competitors shooting 308 Winchester factory ammo. Heckler has been training and winning with the Lapua 308 ammo, including recently winning the last match of Michigan Precision Rifle Challenge series.

Koenig, known as one of the top competitors in action pistol, will be competing in the Factory division.

The IPRF World Championship is being held at the prestigious Cameo Shooting and Education Complex in Grand Junction, CO, September 11 – 17th. The top competitors from 23 participating countries will compete in Open, Limited, and Factory divisions for Ladies, Junior, Senior, and Mil/LE classes.
