Annual firearms event focused on ATF compliance, supplier strategies and latest software innovations
Celerant Technology, a preferred retail software provider for the National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF), concluded its 21st annual client conference last week in West Palm Beach, Florida. The event brought together firearm retailers, industry-leading manufacturers, distributors, and online FFL marketplaces for two days of networking, education, and collaboration focused on helping dealers grow their businesses through better technology.
“While this is our 21st client conference, this is our first ever conference dedicated entirely to our firearms clients,” said Michele Salerno, CGO of Celerant. “Our number one mission has always been to help our dealers be more successful. We leaned into important topics like ATF compliance, distributor integrations and more. We even had manufacturers like Sig Sauer, distributors like RSR and Sport South, marketplaces like GunBroker and Gunstores.com, all in attendance, which only further supports our number one goal.”
Throughout the conference, Celerant showcased upcoming software innovations, including new AI-driven tools and advanced integrations that enable dealers to better manage inventory and streamline compliance. Interactive panels and breakout sessions offered attendees valuable insight into emerging trends and practical strategies for maximizing profitability.
Several of Celerant’s valued industry partners attended, including the National Shooting Sports Foundation, Sig Sauer, GunBroker, Sports South, RSR Group, FFLGuard, FastBound, 4473 Cloud, FFL Consultants, Credova, OtterText, Gunstores.com, NASGW, and more to highlight collaboration that supports the firearms retail community.
Those attending the conference cited the opportunity to connect directly with both Celerant’s team and fellow retailers as a key highlight. Many, including retail clients, partners, and distributors, emphasized the value of learning how to apply Celerant’s technology to optimize business operations and better serve the end-user customers.
Celerant FFL Client Conference Testimonials
“This is a week that we look forward to every year,” Mitchell Tyler, Co-Founder of SafeSide Tactical, said. “It’s an opportunity for us to not only catch up with friends and colleagues, but see what's coming out for software updates, new partnerships, and get some feedback on the next six to nine months.”
“It was good to get up there with different people from like GunBroker and Sports South,” remarked Stuart Kramer, Sig Sauer. “And just hear some different perspectives on what they're doing also, which all in all will help you move the inventory to the end users.
“Our top takeaways are integrations that Celerant is providing us with leading brands like Sig Sauer and Sport South.” Said Matt Poet, Marketing Director, Jay’s Sporting Goods. “The AI they're incorporating that can really help us with our business and the panels that they're providing to have the best experience possible.”
“The Celerant client conference has been fantastic.” Stated John Lacobelli, SVP Software Development, GunBroker. “It's an intimate setting to be able to really interact with dealers on a one-on-one basis. It was great to get the opportunity to sit on a panel and to be able to talk about the exciting things that Celerant's doing in partnership with us.”
“My greatest takeaway this week was just seeing how important these conferences are to meet all the partners and the users,” stated John Bocker, Co-Founder, Consultant for NSSF and FFL Consultants. “But more importantly, to learn about all your aspects of your software out of what's coming. And we're looking forward to everything Celerant is rolling out.”
“We really get a lot out of the panels that instruct us on whatever's new in the industry,” states Benjamin Orfanos, eCommerce Manager for Jim’s Firearms. “For instance, GunBroker, we got to learn about what we can institute using the Celerant technology to make sure that we're maximizing profit.”
The conference highlighted Celerant’s continued commitment to the firearms industry, with targeted sessions covering critical topics such as ATF compliance, new software features, and integrations with top distributors and partners.
By fostering open dialogue with clients and partners, Celerant gathers feedback that directly influences product development and future initiatives ensuring the platform evolves alongside the needs of its users.
