BLADE Show 2020 Officially Cancelled

With the 39th annual BLADE Show scheduled for Aug. 7-9, we have been receiving countless questions from exhibitors and attendees about the impact of the coronavirus (COVID-19) on the show and its guests.

Unfortunately, we have reluctantly come to the conclusion that it’s in the best interest of all concerned to cancel BLADE Show 2020.

Please know that we did not reach this decision lightly. Having been in daily contact with guests, exhibitors, local officials and the show venue for the past two months, it has become apparent that we cannot present a 2020 event that meets exhibitor and attendee expectations and BLADE Show standards.

While the state of Georgia continues to grapple with decisions about new guidelines and restrictions to deal with the pandemic, BLADE Show too recognizes its responsibility to ensure the safety and well-being of all attendees.

BLADE Magazine and the BLADE Show staff appreciate the support we received from our many industry friends who worked with us to plan for the alternate August dates after we were forced to cancel the original June event.

EXHIBITOR SPACE REFUNDS

All current exhibitors will be sent a follow up email with your refund options the week of July 20th. You will also be sent a 2021 renewal contract at that time. We kindly request you wait to receive that email regarding your options rather than reaching out to Show Management directly at this time.

HOTEL RESERVATIONS

If you booked your hotel room reservations directly through EventSphere, the official housing bureau for the BLADE Show, then your hotel reservations will automatically be cancelled and no charges will be incurred. You will receive an email cancellation acknowledgement within the next week. Please note if you did not book through Eventsphere, then you will need to cancel your own rooms.

ORDERS PLACED WITH COBB GALLERIA SERVICES

If you placed an electric or Internet order for your exhibit space through Cobb Galleria, the Services Department will automatically refund your credit card. If you do not see your refund within the next two weeks, please contact Cobb services directly at 770-989-5016.

ORDERS PLACED WITH FREEMAN

If you placed an order for furniture rental, freight services, etc with Freeman, they will automatically refund your credit card. If you do not see your refund after four weeks, please contact Freeman directly at 404-253-6494.
