The Sidewinder is our premium handheld observational thermal monocular series. The Sidewinder thermal sensors also come equipped with the most sensitive temperature ratings in its class, coming in at sub-20 millikelvin across the entire product family.
All models come equipped with either a 384×288 or 640×512 twelve-micron infrared detector and a 1024×768 OLED display, for improved color rendering. Other improvements over the Taipan monoculars include a more robust body/housing and a removable, rechargeable 18650 battery. These units also boast an impressive waterproof rating, which ensures users have peace of mind while using the Sidewinder in harsh weather conditions.
The Sidewinders built-in 64 GB memory also sits at the top of its class on the market, with advanced software supporting both video and audio recording.
