Austin, TX – Magpul released a new sight in the MBUS® Pro® Backup Sight line: the MBUS Pro Sight – Front, Hooded.

The new sight offers shooters faster sight acquisition and reduces glare for a clear sight picture, all with minimal bulk and snagging. It’s built with the same strength and durability as the other metal MBUS Pro Sights, to include all-steel construction with a QPQ finish.

When paired with the MBUS Pro Rear Sight, the set functions as a diopter-style sight, offering shooters an aperture within an aperture presentation; it can also be paired with other rear sights – including the standard polymer MBUS sights – since the MBUS Pro Hooded Front Sight is the same standard height when deployed as all other AR front sights.

The new sight also has a single, adjustable sight post with two different widths (.040” Match or Standard .060”) for different shooting scenarios. The elevation knob adjusts without tools and stays put thanks to detents within the adjustment mechanism.
