NORTH HAVEN, CT – Continuing to expand their 590S Series of 12-gauge pump-action shotguns, Mossberg is adding a Magpul Holosun Combo with SGA® and MOE® furniture and Holosun HS407K micro dot sight and a Compact optic-ready model with variable 12 to 13-inch length-of-pull. Both versions feature 18.5-inch AccuChoke™-compatible barrels and the capability of cycling 1.75, 2.75 and 3-inch shotshells interchangeably without the use of an adaptor.

Key design elements of the 590S include a redesigned elevator and bolt slide combined with the addition of an energy-absorbing bumper. This patented design allows the user to load their choice of shotshell length (1.75, 2.75 and 3-inch) and shotshell type in any combination. And use of shorter shell lengths will also increase the overall capacity of the 590S.

At the core of the 590 platform are non-binding twin action bars; positive steel-to-steel lock-up and anti-jam elevator; dual extractors; drilled and tapped receivers; ambidextrous top-mounted safety; and convenient clean-out magazine tube with cap for ease of maintenance. Standard features of the 590S series include patent-pending optic-cut receiver for the direct mounting of micro dot sights (RMSc footprint); synthetic stock and forend; matte blue metal finish; and logo-engraved receiver.

590S Magpul Holosun Combo Pump-Action Shotgun (51606) – This full-featured combo is equipped with the Magpul SGA stock, an ambidextrous, user-configurable buttstock that features a spacer system for length-of-pull adjustment (12.25 – 14.25 inches); improved grip ergonomics; recoil-reducing butt pad; and optional cheek risers for proper eye alignment with optics. The Magpul MOE forend features an extended length with front and rear hand stops for improved manipulation and adds modularity with M-LOK® slots for compatibility with all M-LOK accessories. Both stock and forend feature a gray finish with QD swivel mounts. This 590S combo also comes equipped with a Holosun 407K micro dot sight which offers up to 50,000 hours of battery life; 6 MOA dot; 12 brightness settings; and Shake Awake™ feature. A cover plate is included for use when a sight is not mounted. 590S Compact Optic Ready Pump-Action Shotgun (51607) – The compact version features a durable black synthetic stock with variable length-of-pull stock (12 – 13 inches) with use of a stock insert and matching black corncob-style forend. The receiver features an optic cut for the direct mounting of micro dot optics (RMSc pattern) and a cover plate is included when a sight is not in use. Completing this package is an 18.5-inch AccuChoke barrel equipped with a Cylinder choke tube; matte blue metal finish; front and rear sling swivel studs; and maximum capacity of 10 rounds with use of mini shells (1.75 inch).
