Columbia, MO – The MidwayUSA Foundation is proud to announce it will continue a donation-matching program in 2019. All donations made to shooting teams with a MidwayUSA Foundation Team Endowment will receive a match. This year’s program will offer teams $120,000, each month, in matching dollars. This cap means the ratio of the match will change each month based on the total contributions for that month. This is double what was offered in 2018. Larry and Brenda Potterfield fund the MidwayUSA Foundation Matching Program through personal donations. This critical funding proves their passion to support the growth and long term funding of youth shooting sports.

Every youth shooting team that has an endowment at the MidwayUSA Foundation has a team page on the MidwayUSA Foundation website [midwayusafoundation.org]. Team pages not only provide team and funding details, but donors can make donations to their favorite team right through this page. Over 3,100 youth shooting teams across the nation have an endowment and this online donation capability. The donations are tax deductible and 100% of the donation, as well as the match, benefits the team. The Foundation removes nothing for operations.

Along with soliciting online donations from their supporters to grow their endowment, teams can host fundraisers and contribute the proceeds to their MidwayUSA Foundation Team Endowment. The MidwayUSA Foundation offers free products, such as firearms, optics, knives, and coolers to use for team fundraisers. Proceeds generated by using these products and donated to team endowments are also matched. This matching program will continue through 2019.
