SCI Celebrates Nearly Five Years of Continuous Membership Growth

Washington, D.C. Safari Club International (SCI) is proud to announce a major milestone: nearly five consecutive years of continuous membership growth. As the global leader in defending the freedom to hunt and promoting sustainable-use conservation, SCI’s growing base of members underscores the strength of the hunting community and its unwavering commitment to protecting wildlife and our outdoor heritage.

“This consistent growth in membership is a testament to the work of our members on the ground.” said W. Laird Hamberlin, CEO of Safari Club International. “Hunters around the world recognize that SCI is the only organization fighting for their rights on every front: in the courts, in legislatures, and in the media. Our growth reflects the trust sportsmen and women place in SCI to protect what matters most.”

SCI’s nearly five years of membership momentum have been fueled by grassroots chapter engagement, expanded international outreach, impactful advocacy wins, and an unrelenting focus on the hunter’s role in conservation.

John McLaurin, President of SCI, added: “This organization was built by hunters, for hunters and the numbers prove we’re doing something right. With more members, we have more voices, more impact, and more power to ensure all hunters worldwide including our children and grandchildren inherit the same freedom to hunt that we’ve enjoyed.”

SCI’s growth continues to accelerate with new chapter development in the U.S., Canada, Europe, and Africa. Safari Club International remains First for Hunters, and today, more people than ever are joining the fight.
