Mossy Oak, the Official Camouflage of Ducks Unlimited, Extends Its Partnership

WEST POINT, MS – Mossy Oak, the Official Camo of Conservation, and Ducks Unlimited (DU) have extended their multi-year partnership with a long-term, reciprocal commitment to the outdoors and conservation that improves wetland and waterfowl habitats. This commitment will directly support DU research efforts, public land access improvement, hunters’ rights, and much more all while supporting the waterfowl community by delivering market-leading patterns from Mossy Oak.

During the 2020 SHOT Show, Mossy Oak launched its newest waterfowl patterns, Shadow Grass Habitat and Elements Terra Bayou. Now, the official camo patterns of Ducks Unlimited include Mossy Oak Bottomland, Shadow Grass Blades, Shadow Grass Habitat, and Elements Terra Bayou. These patterns allow waterfowlers a menu of camouflage options that apply to varied environments no matter where or how they hunt. When a hunter purchases products in any of these patterns featuring the iconic duck head logo, a portion of the proceeds goes back to DU and conservation.

“Giving back to our nation’s wildlife by optimizing and expanding their habitat is at the forefront of everything we do at Mossy Oak as the Official Camouflage of Conservation and Ducks Unlimited,” said Chris Paradise, Senior Vice President and Chief Sales Officer. “We want all waterfowl conservationists and hunters to know that through their purchase of these four patterns, they are giving back to what they love: the pursuit of waterfowl and enjoyment that it brings. This extended partnership with DU allows our camo patterns to not just be the best concealment option for duck hunters, but also gives those who wear them an opportunity to proudly serve with us in a bigger mission.”

DU was among several conservation organizations invited to provide the nation’s leaders with feedback, when

Mossy Oak recently hosted U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Sonny Perdue and U.S. Secretary of Interior David Bernhardt at their SHOT Show booth. This facilitated a discussion about policies related to advancing the quality of the nation’s wildlife resources and the importance of conservation to all who enjoy the outdoors.

“The Mossy Oak partnership has strengthened our ability to deliver vital wetland habitat,” said DU Chief Fundraising Officer Amy Batson. “Their commitment to DU, and conservation in general, is truly appreciated and we are very excited to see what the future holds with the new Shadow Grass Habitat pattern.”
