On Friday, November 23, the company's online store will "go dark" in support of Black Friday to encourage outdoor enthusiasts and backyard cooking fans to purchase their FireDisc® Cookers exclusively through their local dealer until Sunday, November 25.

"The day after Thanksgiving is often a make-or-break time for brick-and-mortar retailers," said FireDisc® Cookers SVP of Sales Bob Franke. "Our retail partners throughout the country are an integral part of the success of FireDisc® Cookers and are valued members of the FireDisc® family. As such, we dedicate as much time and resources as possible throughout the year to help them deliver a positive brand experience to every potential customer that walks through their doors. To do our part in helping our dealers serve their customers during this important retail season, we decided to turn off select retail purchasing capabilities on the FireDisc® website and create a special Black Fry-Day event specifically for our on-the-ground local dealers."

Consumers will still be able to visit the FireDisc® website to learn all about the ground-breaking line of portable propane outdoor cooking solutions, but all product ordering functions (excluding FireDisc® parts and apparel) will be temporarily turned off to encourage consumers to buy from their neighborhood FireDisc® Cookers dealer.

There are currently over 700 FireDisc® Cookers dealers around the country—north to south and coast to coast—so finding an area dealer is easy.
