See the "Reel Alaska" in New Fishing Video

(KENAI, ALASKA) The Kenai River Sportfishing Association (KRSA) sent a film crew around Southcentral Alaska to capture what Alaska’s world-class fisheries offer to its residents and visitors each year. This video not only shows the love Alaskans have for their fisheries, but also their reliance on healthy fish returns to fill their freezers for the winter.

Alaska is home to the world-famous Kenai River and offers unparalleled access for Anchorage residents and visitors to spend their lunch break with a line in the water catching salmon to have for dinner that night. From deep sea fishing to traditional rod and reel and even the uniquely Alaska dip-netting frenzy, this video gives meaning to sportfishing in Alaska.

About KRSA:

KRSA is a nonpartisan, nonprofit fishery-conservation organization that works to ensure the long-term health and sustainability of fishery resources in the Kenai River, Cook Inlet and elsewhere in Alaska, through advocacy of sport and personal-use fisheries and the promotion of science-based fishery management.
