(Grand Island, Nebr.) — Hornady® congratulates shooters Clay Blackketter, Austin Orgain, and Matt Hornback for their performance at the Cali Sharpshooter Showdown on October 11-12, 2025, near Cambria, California.
Hornback won the Mil/LEO division and took 3rd place overall shooting Hornady 6.5mm 140 gr. AEROMATCH™ bullets. Clay Blackketter placed 2nd in the Open Division, and teammate Austin Orgain took 3rd place in the Open Division, both shooting 25 cal. 138 gr. A-Tip Match bullets.
“The Sharpshooter Showdown was one of the toughest matches I’ve ran all year,” said Hornback. “The Aeromatch bullets simply hammer, their accuracy and consistency let me focus on shooting fundamentals and finish at the top,” he added.
AEROMATCH™ bullets feature the most popular match bullet profiles and weights from around the industry. Manufactured in small batches of 3,000 sequential bullets, they provide unrivaled availability and reliable accuracy that shooters have grown to love.
A-Tip® Match bullets feature an aluminum tip that’s precision machined and longer than polymer tips, that moves the center of gravity and enhances inflight stability, resulting in tighter groups and reduced drag variability. In addition, A-Tip bullets are sequentially packaged for the ultimate in consistent performance.
