Once-in-a-Lifetime Chevy Outdoorsman K10 and Matching Winchester Rifle Anchor November Collector’s Elite Auctions

There are finds that make the hair on the back of a collector’s neck stand up. Objects that do more than survive time; they keep a story intact. The November Collector’s Elite Auctions lot brings one of those finds to market — the 1985 Chevrolet K10 4x4 Outdoorsman, a museum-grade survivor that pairs with a matching Winchester to complete a near-impossible period package. Around it sits a roster of rare firearms that range from frontier romance to exhibition-grade European engraving. Together they form a month’s offering that reads like a collector’s cabinet of curiosities.

This is a moment for provenance worshippers and history hunters. If you prize originality, paper trails, and objects that still smell faintly of their era, read on.

1985 Chevrolet K10 4x4 Outdoorsman (with complete Outdoorsman contents)

There are rare trucks, and then there is this. Bryant Ridge Co. offers one of the purest, most complete examples of the 1985 Chevrolet K10 Outdoorsman known to exist. With 79,973 original miles, original Colorado Gold finish, and the fabled MM7 four-speed manual transmission with overdrive, this K10 is less restored icon and more time capsule.

What elevates it beyond other square body survivors is completeness. The truck is accompanied by the original dealer invoice, factory pamphlets and manual, and the full Outdoorsman complement in new old stock condition: Winchester 94 XTR .30-30 with box and papers, Doskocil carrying case with box, Tasco 4x32 scope and shooting glasses with boxes, vintage Winchester red cap, Field & Stream ad, original rifle rack, and more. The engine bay stickers remain legible. The original smog pump and valves are intact. The undercarriage shows benign brown patina not corrosion. Only two known nonfactory items have been added: a passenger-side auxiliary fuel tank and a dash pad cover added to preserve the original dash.

RPO codes and factory options read like a who’s who of desirable kit: G80 locking rear differential, UA1 heavy-duty battery, Z53 full gauge package, LE9 5.0L V8, A28 sliding rear window, and notably, 8N5 Outdoorsman package. This truck runs and drives smoothly. For the collector who prizes provenance and originality, this K10 is a once-in-a-generation offering.

Colt Single Action Army Lawman Series Wyatt Earp Buntline, No. 350 of 500

Bryant Ridge Co. presents a penny-start auction for a commemorative that lives large in outlaw lore. This Colt Single Action Army Lawman Series Wyatt Earp Buntline was manufactured in 1970 as part of a limited run of 500, and this example is serial 350WYE. Chambered in .45 Colt and fitted with a 16-inch barrel and integral sights, the piece is finished with a color case-hardened frame, blued barrel and cylinder, and nickel hammer and trigger. Smooth two-piece walnut stocks round out the period look.

What sets this apart is the original serial-matching nickel-plated skeleton shoulder stock, an ultra-rare accessory that completes the Buntline configuration and underlines the piece as both tribute and artifact. The revolver ships in its original Colt Lawman Series presentation case with period artwork. Condition is described as new old stock. For Colt collectors who chase commemoratives that bridge cinematic myth and material authenticity, this Wyatt Earp Buntline is a centerpiece.

Browning Belgium Custom Shop B3 Limited Edition Auto 5 (FN Herstal for Browning)

This Auto 5 represents the height of Belgian gunmaking, produced by FN Herstal for the Browning Custom Shop. Chambered in 12 gauge with a 26-inch vent-rib barrel, this Limited Edition features a coin-finished action with expansive open scrollwork framing finely executed game scenes. The action is signed by master engraver Romanville B., and the top is stamped Limited Edition Made in Belgium and Original Auto 5.

Mechanically the gun is excellent. The barrel retains 99 percent of its original blued finish. The exhibition-grade walnut stock shows rich figure and sharp checkering. It includes five original Invector chokes and the factory choke key. At just over 8 pounds with a 14.5-inch length of pull, the balance is as deliberate as the workmanship. Opportunities to acquire a B3 Limited Edition Auto 5 with this level of finish and original accessories are extremely rare.

Mauser P-08 Luger (Mauser 1940, matching except magazine)

This Mauser-marked P-08 Luger carries the visual language of mid 20th century service pistols: 4-inch barrel, checkered wood grips, fixed sights and three eagle proof marks stamped 655 on the right side of the slide. All numbers match except the magazine. The blued finish shows plenty of battle use, consistent with a service history, yet the action remains smooth, and the pistol functions as intended.

Collectors of wartime ordnance value original finish and matching numbers, and this P-08 presents both along with honest wear that tells a story rather than hides one. For the curator assembling a hands-on collection of WWII service pieces, this Luger is an evocative and usable example.

Winchester Dodge Marksman 1000 Model 94 XTR Carbine, serial 5062459 (1983-84)

A companion piece to the Chevy-Winchester story, this Dodge Marksman rifle was one of a limited promotional run tied to 1984 Dodge Marksman pickups. Chambered in .30-30 Winchester with a 20-inch barrel, this Model 94 XTR carbine remains unfired in its factory box with hang tag, instruction manual, warranty card and original marketing materials. The buttstock bears a commemorative Ram’s head medallion reading 1984 Dodge Marksman 1000 Winchester.

Only 775 of these rifles were made. The example in this lot is like new aside from light box damage to one end where the hammer once pressed the cardboard. For collectors of promotional rifles and limited-run automotive tie-ins, this Marksman carbine is an exceptional survivor and a perfect complement to any automotive or Winchester theme collection.

A rare month for collectors

From a museum-quality square body pickup that arrives with its full factory kit, to commemorative Colts, to exhibition-grade Belgian engraving, the November Collector’s Elite Auctions lot reads as both a survey of Americana and a lesson in provenance. Each lot carries the kind of completeness and documentation that discerning collectors prize.
