The Wildlife and Freshwater Fisheries (WFF) Division of the Alabama Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (ADCNR) will temporarily close Brown’s Creek Public Boat Ramp on Lake Guntersville off Highway 69 in Guntersville, Alabama, for repairs and maintenance on September 23, 2024.
During the closure a new launching slab and a new access pier will be installed. The renovations are expected to be completed in approximately three months. A reopening date will be announced when available.
This is a joint project of ADCNR and the City of Guntersville. Funding for the project was primarily provided through the Wildlife Restoration Program under the federal Pittman-Robertson Act. Additional funding was provided by the City of Guntersville and Innovate Alabama, a statewide public-private partnership focused on entrepreneurship, technology and innovation with a mission to help businesses grow roots in Alabama.
