Benelli Introduces Performance Shop Models of Super Black Eagle 3 for Waterfowl and Turkey
ACCOKEEK, Md. (January 23, 2019) - Two years after Benelli changed the shotgun world with the introduction of the Super Black Eagle 3, the brand's flagship shotgun is now available with significant upgrades from the Benelli Performance Shop and legendary shotgun expert RobRoberts. Designed for specific hunting purposes, the Performance Shop SBE3 Waterfowl shotgun and the Performance Shop SBE3 Turkey shotguncome withfeatures and upgrades for suburb handling and performance in the field.
The Performance Shop SBE3 Waterfowl shotgun blends into the surroundings with its Cerakote Midnight Bronze receiver and barrel and OPTIFADE Marsh camo stock and forend. A HiVis CompSight tops the 28-inch barrel that is paired withthree RobRoberts chokesand five Benelli chokes. The SBE3 Waterfowl weighs in at a fast-moving7 pounds. To round out the package, extra inserts for the frontsight, a Paracord sling and Benelli's 40-position shim kit that allow the shooter to find their perfect cast and dropcome standard with the SBE3 Waterfowl.
Designed specifically for taking down big toms, the Performance Shop SBE3 Turkey shotgun featuresa pistol grip, Mossy Oak Bottomlands buttstock and forend, mounted and pre-sighted Burris FastFire II red-dot sight and EDM porting for quick follow-up shots. The SBE3 Turkey has a 24-inch barrel and weighs 6.8 pounds. Along with an included pattern test and analysis, the shotgun comes standard with one RobRoberts XFT choke, five Benelli chokes, oil, wrench and manual.
Bothmodels retain the tried-and-true features that make the SBE3 a renowned shotgun, including the inertia-driven action with Easy Locking System, enhanced ergonomics and ComforTech stock. Benelli's Performance Shop SBE3 models have lengthened forcing cones for more uniform patterns, along with enlarged bolt handles and custom bolt release levers for easy operation even with gloved hands.
