The Krieghoff K KUP Tradition Returns to NSCA Nationals

Presented in partnership with duPont Krieghoff, Alamo Sporting Arms, Pacific Sporting Arms and Paxton Arms

Ottsville, PA — As the nation’s top sporting clays shooters gather at the National Shooting Complex in San Antonio for the 2025 NSCA National Championships, all eyes will once again turn to one of the week’s most challenging events: The Krieghoff K KUP.

Exclusive to the Nationals, the K KUP is a 100-target course known for its demanding layouts and fiercely competitive field. In 2024, the event attracted nearly 2,000 entries, making it the largest 100-target sporting clays event in the country and a highlight of the competition schedule.

First held in 1998, the K KUP has become one of Nationals’ longest-running and most challenging special events. Over nearly three decades, it has built a reputation for pushing shooters to their limits. Competitors face fast targets, varied angles, and creative course design; a challenge built on patience, control, and steady execution. For many, simply finishing strong is an accomplishment in itself.

Krieghoff International proudly presents the K KUP in partnership with duPont Krieghoff, Alamo Sporting Arms, Pacific Sporting Arms, and Paxton Arms, four dedicated dealer partners whose ongoing support helps bring the event to life each year. Their collaboration reflects a shared commitment to the shooting community and to celebrating the skill and sportsmanship that make Nationals special to so many.

Last year’s K KUP saw exceptional performances across the board, including several High Overall scores by Team Krieghoff shooters. As this year’s event unfolds, many are watching to see if another Krieghoff shooter will rise to the top of the leaderboard once again.

For those attending Nationals, be sure to stop by the Krieghoff booth to pick up this year’s commemorative K KUP t-shirt, a popular keepsake among participants and fans alike.

Whether you’re competing, watching from the sidelines, or following the results from home, the K KUP remains a highlight of Nationals and a true test of concentration, stamina, and skill.
