Williamsburg, KY – Scholastic 3-D Archery’s membership has grown tremendously since the inception of the program and essentially outgrew the membership and events database that had been in place. S3DA went to Sport:80 without a comprehensive system in place for the management of memberships and events as the program had previously relied on spreadsheets and offline payments for processing memberships and tournament registrations. As a fast-growing organization, these processes were extremely time-consuming and there were potential opportunities for the data to not be recorded efficiently or effectively.

The Sport:80 platform is a sophisticated yet easy-to-use sport management system that combines powerful CRM functionality and a dedicated online member portal. By providing both functions within a single system, the Sport:80 platform actively encourages online engagement from S3DA members whilst providing various operational tools to enable S3DA more efficiency and insight.

Through adopting the Sport:80 platform, S3DA’s members now have access to a variety of online services. Sport:80 provides S3DA members the opportunity to manage their own profile, renew their memberships, manage and update their qualifications, add event entries, along with a host of other member-focused features. The events module, which has replaced a paper form system, allows for event set-up and registration, e-tickets and payments to be done completely autonomously, again saving S3DA significant time and resources that can be used to grow the sport.

This new platform will streamline many of our own internal processes and allow our office to dedicate more time to event planning, a larger online presence and growth of the S3DA program.”

Started in December 2012 by the Scholastic Archery Association, S3DA has grown exponentially as a next step program to follow introductory programs offered as part of 4-H or the National Archery in the Schools Program. S3DA addresses the need for a program to bridge beginning target archery experience and more advanced activities such as 3-D shooting and bowhunting. The program currently operates across the United States with hundreds of certified coaches serving

thousands of young archers, grades 3–12.
