Outdoor Channel Presented by Moultrie Features “American Wild” Block on Friday Nights

Outdoor Channel, presented by Moultrie, is captivated by American adventure stories and the people behind them during the “American Wild” block of programming on Friday nights beginning at 7 p.m. ET. “American Wild” promises to be a weekly highlight for hunters, outdoorsmen and women who share a passion for nature and the wild by tuning into Nick’s Wild Ride with Nick Hoffman, Dropped and Life on the Edge, to name a few.

Each series in the "American Wild" block will take the audience on a unique adventure, celebrating the spirit of the American wilderness. From breathtaking landscapes to compelling stories of survival and exploration, this programming block aims to inspire and entertain those who appreciate the outdoors.

Shows included in “American Wild” block include:

Dropped: Project Origin – 7 p.m.: Over a decade ago, brothers Chris and Casey Keefer ventured north to the Brooks Range of Alaska to film 'Dropped' - a show that pushed the brothers' mental and physical limitations to the very edge as they attempted to survive stringent and taxing conditions in the extraordinarily isolated Alaskan bush. Now, over ten years later, Chris and Casey journey back to where it all began - to discover if their drive to survive has remained the same, to see if they still have what it takes to provide for their own basic human needs, and to not only survive but thrive in the far reaches of America's Arctic wilderness.

Nick’s Wild Ride with Nick Hoffman – 7:30 p.m.: Join Nick Hoffman as he travels the world on the hunt for interesting game, little-known history, fascinating people, heartwarming culture, food, and drink.

The Brigade: The Race to the Hudson – 8 p.m.: With $500,000 dollars at stake, ten strangers unite to conquer a grueling cross-country wilderness expedition that pushes bodies and minds to the extreme. The Brigade – Race to the Hudson is a cooperative competition that forces participants to work together as they travel over 750 miles across the York Factory Express - an historic fur trade route legendary for its danger, isolation and beauty. They’ll paddle, portage, and hike through treacherous waterways and unforgiving terrain, with only 28 days to complete their journey. They have no fuel and no GPS. If they can pool their skills, strengths and courage and make it to the end in time, they’ll split the cash prize. But if the team unravels, failure is inevitable. The Brigade is not about eliminating foes, it’s about hanging onto every member against the odds.

Life on the Edge – 9 and 9:30 p.m.: Welcome to the "Wild West of the Last Frontier" - the Aleutian Islands. Life on the Edge focuses on American pioneers and adventure seekers living in some of the most remote and inaccessible places, in some of the most extreme conditions on Earth. This punishing environment pushes people to the limit as they build new businesses, new infrastructure and whole new lives off-the-grid.
