Groove Life, the outdoor and active lifestyle company ranks #466 on the Inc. 5000
NEW YORK – Inc. magazine Tuesday revealed that GROOVE LIFE is No. 466 on its annual Inc. 5000 list, the most prestigious ranking of the nation’s fastest-growing private companies. The list represents a unique look at the most successful companies within the American economy’s most dynamic segment—its independent small businesses. Intuit, Zappos, Under Armour, Microsoft, Patagonia, and many other well-known names gained their first national exposure as honorees on the Inc. 5000.
Groove Life is a leader in the outdoor and active lifestyle accessory market with breathable silicone rings, watch bands and the Groove Belt. Peter Goodwin, owner and CEO started the company in remote Alaska before moving the company to Tennessee 4 years ago. Now with 185 employees and a growing product line, the Groove Life team is looking towards the future and Peter doesn’t forget how he got where he is today.
“It’s been a wild ride but one full of challenges and triumphs. Our team is made up of some of the hardest working, creative, and dedicated people I’ve ever known. I’m proud of how we got here and what we represent and hope to continue to serve people, reflect God and inspire adventure for years to come.”
Not only have the companies on the 2021 Inc. 5000 been very competitive within their markets, but this year’s list also proved especially resilient and flexible given 2020’s unprecedented challenges. Among the 5,000, the average median three-year growth rate soared to 543 percent, and median revenue reached $11.1 million. Together, those companies added more than 610,000 jobs over the past three years.
Complete results of the Inc. 5000, including company profiles and an interactive database that can be sorted by industry, region, and other criteria, can be found at www.inc.com/inc5000. The top 500 companies are featured in the September issue of Inc., which will be available on newsstands on August 20.

About
Groove Life launched in 2016 with the release of their flagship product, the Groove Ring. Founder Peter Goodwin wanted to wear a ring that showed his commitment to his family while meeting the demands of his work as an Alaskan guide and wilderness lodge owner. His creation not only offers durability and functionality, but rugged good looks, as well. The company has since moved its headquarters to Tennessee and now offers other products, including the first breathable watch band and the innovative Groove Belt.
