Team Vihtavuori's Francis Colon demonstrated his elite marksmanship by achieving a 2nd place overall finish at the highly competitive 2025 K&M Kahles Precision Rifle Competition.
Held at the K&M Shooting Complex in Finger, Tennessee, on May 24th and 25th, the K&M Kahles Precision Rifle Competition is a premier stop on the Precision Rifle Series (PRS) circuit. The facility is renowned for its challenging course of fire that attracts top-tier shooters. During the two-day match, competitors engage a variety of steel, reactive, and automated moving targets at varying distances between 500 and 1,200 yards.
Colon's outstanding performance saw him finish just one impact behind first-place winner Jeff Guerry. His success was fueled by the reliable combination of Berger 6mm 109 gr Long Range Hybrid Target bullets and Vihtavuori N150 powder.
"K&M Training Complex requires the highest possible level of precision to remain in the hunt for a podium finish. With targets as small as .75 MOA, it’s critical that your ammo maintain the same velocity over the course of the match,” stated Colon. “I have absolute confidence that Vihtavuori powder maintains class leading temperature stability. My muzzle velocity remained unchanged through the course of the weekend, allowing me to focus on wind and building solid positions to earn a podium finish. "
Colon is set to continue his strong showing throughout the remainder of the competitive Precision Rifle Series season.
