Krieghoff International, Inc., a world-renowned leader in precision firearms, is proud to announce the outstanding achievements of Team Krieghoff at the 2023 World Skeet Shooting Championships at the National Shooting Complex in San Antonio, Texas.
The competition drew the world's top skeet shooters, and Team Krieghoff stood tall, reaffirming our legacy of precision and excellence in the world of clay target sports. We'd like to express our immense pride in their accomplishments.
After a battle in the shoot-offs, Team Krieghoff’s dynamic duo Houston Deshotels and Sheaffer Stanfill placed First and Second in the 12-gauge World Championship event. Lauren Burge led the field in the 28-gauge event, becoming the 28-gauge Open & Lady World Champion, securing her first World title. Team Krieghoff’s Skeet Team Manager Alessandro Vitale placed 3rd in the Doubles Championship, while Pro Staff Lindsey Plesko .410 Lady World Champion and placed Lady 3rd in the 450 target High Over All (HOA). Sheaffer Stanfill led the World High All Around event with 548x500, cementing his greatest shooting accomplishment to date. Houston Deshotels followed closely behind with 547 for 3rd place. Deshotels and Stanfill were also near the top of the HOA leaderboard and were crowned 2nd and 3rd place winners, respectively. In addition to Team Krieghoff’s stellar achievements, many Krieghoff shooters showcased exemplary skills, with Alex Catalano standing out by securing the 550 HAA Class World Champion title.
