There are many ways to commemorate the events of September 11th, 2001; this is a monument crafted in the design of “America’s Pistol.” The WTC GA911 pistol is truly unique in containing World Trade Center steel that can be traced and verified in an impeccable chain of custody, from the tragic site at Ground Zero to this incredible firearm.

The very first soldiers to counter attack the perpetrators of the tragic attacks of September 11th 2001 carried with them to Afghanistan a small piece of metal from the wreckage of the World Trade Center. Now, the GA911 is forged from that same hallowed steel. The Gotham Armory WTC Pistol GA911 is American made with 100% of parts sourced, machined, manufactured, assembled and finished in the United States of America.

After almost a year of trials searching for the perfect blend of steels and technique, a perfect combination emerged consisting of 1075, 1050, 15n20 and the World Trade Center steel. The GA911 has over 130 layers of steel, heated and hammered into a solid block of strength and beauty. Collaborating with one of the finest 1911 makers in the world, the billets are machined, shaped, heat treated, hand fitted, test fired, etched, hand polished and finished, fitted with ironwood grips, inspected, and, finally, declared perfect.

There will only ever be 106 GA911’s; the edition of 100, serial numbers WTC900-WTC999, and 6 proof pistols. Gotham Armory is the only type 7 licensed firearms manufacturer in the state of New York and probably the last manufacturer of firearms in New York City.
