This past year Whitetails Unlimited has granted more than $4,000 to the United Special Sportsman Alliance. The USSA is a wish granting charity specializing in sending critically ill youth and disabled veterans on a free outdoor adventure of their dream. In addition to the outdoor excursions they offer to individuals, the organization also encourages and supports sportsman recruitment, hunter safety, and sound wildlife management
Whitetails Unlimited strongly supports organizations that facilitate outdoor experiences for individuals who may not have the ability or resources to do so otherwise. Besides USSA, WTU backs organizations with similar missions such as Catch-A-Dream Foundation and Hunt of a Lifetime to name a few.
“USSA is doing an outstanding job getting youth and veterans that face hurdles into the outdoors,” said WTU Program Services Director Russ Austad. “This organization and many others like it align perfectly with our Preserving the Hunting Tradition program.”
