Murray Road, Carbon Media Announce Bold New Video Series: Fishing the 50

The Murray Road Agency, a leading agency in the outdoor industry and related verticals, is excited to partner with Carbon Media to announce Fishing the 50. This original, high-quality video series will focus on fishing all 50 states in America, but deliver a unique takeaway from every location, body of water, local fisherman or community visited.

The series will explore key fisheries across the 50 states as well as the people, places, history and cultures in those states. This series will not only inspire anglers to travel to these places to fish themselves, but will also entertain and educate viewers as they follow the journey. This series will be ongoing for multiple seasons as members of Carbon Media fish across the country in key regions (Midwest, East Coast, West Coast, South, etc). Fish will be caught, and stories will be told.

Distributed and promoted through the Carbon Media channels of AllOutdoorTV, AllOutdoor.com and OutdoorHub.com, Fishing the 50 will have immediate impact and reach. Carbon Media is committed to using its direct pipeline to fishing and outdoor enthusiasts and will fully promote the series and partners. The series will be filmed and/or produced by the Murray Road Productions team and combine compelling storytelling with modern content. In this project, Murray Road will also look to collaborate with internal brand production teams or other storytellers to capture the most compelling locations, stories and people that make the fishery worth fishing.

The first video in the series will take place in Manistee, Michigan, in pursuit of salmon and trout on Lake Michigan. This installment will showcase the opportunities available on Lake Michigan and how various conservation efforts have allowed it to become one of the best fisheries in the country.

“We’ve been traveling and hunting around the country, and world, with the team at Carbon Media for years creating high-quality content,” said Murray Road Content Manager Jake Dahlke. “This new endeavor with Fishing the 50 is yet another pathway for our teams to do what we do best together – tell stories, seek adventure, chase the wild and showcase the best products the outdoor industry has to offer in a meaningful way.”

“AllOutdoorTV is the ultimate destination to stream hunting and fishing content,” said Ben Ryder, Director of Content at Carbon Media. “Fishing the 50 is a testament to our dedication to offering our viewers the absolute best content for the outdoorsmen. We're excited to partner with Murray Road on the development of this series so that we can offer both our audience and clients yet another program to take part in.”

Murray Road is pleased to invite brands from across the industry to take part in Fishing the 50 as a formal partner. This series will be an incredibly effective, authentic and entertaining way to reach anglers and outdoor enthusiasts across the country. Professional photo and video asset development comes with the partnership and opportunities for direct factory and/or headquarters visits to be worked into the series are available.
