Accokeek, MD – If there is one field sport that best melds tradition, heritage, craftsmanship, and the art of the hunt, it is the pursuit of upland birds. Produced by GUN DOG magazine and hosted by editors Kali Parmley and Nathan Ratchford, Wild Upland takes viewers on wingshooting adventures into some of the most rugged and remote game bird habitat across the U.S. Of course, the gun dogs are the true stars of the show.
Each episode follows hosts Kali and Nathan as their dogs zero in on everything from California quail to Maine ruffed grouse. While exposing viewers to some of most breathtaking wild bird country in the nation, Wild Upland also covers dog training tactics, canine care, and how-to tips for making your own adventures.
