Brodey Simkins Private Pond License Review
A private landowner is applying for a Private Fish Pond License and proposes to stock westslope cutthroat trout in an unnamed private pond. The pond is 0.87-surface-acre and located on 9900 Bridger Canyon Road about 500 yards west of Bridger Creek, which is a tributary to the East Gallatin River.

FWP is proposing the adoption of an emergency rule closing the Stillwater River to any floating recreation from the Absaroka Fishing Access Site to the Jeffrey's Landing Fishing Access Site in Stillwater County.

Flint Creek Restoration Phase 3A - Draft Checklist EA (Future Fisheries Improvement Program)
FWP released an EA for a project on Flint Creek, located near Hall (Granite County). The Future Fisheries Improvement Program would provide funding to a project that proposes to restore a 0.48-mile stream segment that has been impaired by past land use practices to a naturally functioning system that also maintains a livestock operation. This project improvements are expected to improve fish habitat for both native and nonnative fish species in Flint Creek and the Clark Fork River.

Robb-Ledford Wildlife Management Area Motorized Travel Management Revision
FWP proposes to revise the routes open to motorized travel within the Robb-Ledford Wildlife Management Area to: 1) increase elk security and retention during the general rifle hunting season; 2) improve non-motorized hunting opportunity within the WMA; and 3) reduce soil erosion and noxious weed establishment.

Bootjack and Leon Lakes Burbot Introduction Draft EA
FWP is proposing to stock burbot into Bootjack Lake and Leon Lake. Bootjack and Leon lakes are closed basin lakes in the Thompson Chain of Lakes south of Highway 2 near Happy’s Inn. The proposed action is being considered to provide angling opportunity, reduce density of illegally introduced yellow perch thus reducing competition with and predation on stocked rainbow trout, and improve individual growth rates of existing game fish populations.
