Always among the most-anticipated Outdoor Oklahoma magazines each year is the Readers' Photography Showcase issue that arrives in July. That issue is chock-full of spectacular outdoor photography, courtesy of the many fans who enter their images in the Showcase contest.
Deadline is April 16 to enter images to be considered for this year's Showcase issue. It's a great opportunity for any photographer to show off their talents and to have their work appear in a statewide publication.
The Showcase is meant to celebrate the best artistic photography relating to Oklahoma's great outdoors. Subjects might include wildlife studies, birds, fish, insects, landscapes, rivers and streams, lakes, sunsets and rainbows, or action shots from outdoor activities such as hunting or fishing. Judges will not consider “trophy” snapshots of hunters or anglers posing with their game or fish.
Each person may enter up to four high-quality digital images online at wildlifedepartment.com. Judges will select the "best of the best" from all of the entries to appear in the July/August issue of the official Wildlife Department magazine.
Complete entry instructions and the online entry form can be found at www.wildlifedepartment.com/Outdoor-Oklahoma/RPS.
