Bergara listened to their customer's feedback on what they liked most about a hunting rifle and struck gold with the perfect balance of weight and portability. Weighing in at under 7 lbs., the Canyon is a lightweight hunting rifle with a fluted, #5 tapered barrel, threaded muzzle for those that want to hunt with a break or suppressed in a more compact package. A custom AG Composites lightweight carbon fiber stock in Swamper Rogue camo keeps the weight down. The detachable magazine utilizing the M5 floorplate allows for easy customization.

Bergara’s Canyon has a premium, #5 taper, stainless fluted precision Bergara Barrel that reduces the weight and cools better. This gun is weatherproof and rugged in all types of backcountry conditions with its Cerakoted Tactical Grey finish.

The Bergara Premier action is a two-lug system that features a separate floating bolt head to ensure contact with the lug abutments in the action. It also features a cone-shaped bolt nose for smooth feeding of the cartridge, and a spring-loaded sliding plate extractor located in the front of the lower locking lug. The one-piece bolt body is stainless steel with a pad at the rear to accept the threaded-in bolt handle. The bolt head, the non-rotating gas shield, the bolt handle, and bolt shroud are fully Nitrided for extreme durability, as well as its self-lubricating properties.

Partnering with Trigger Tech® Triggers allows use of the patented Frictionless Release Technology™ to increase performance and accuracy for the end-user by eliminating creep and heavy trigger pulls.

The magazine is AICS style detachable with the exception of the .375 H&H which is a hinged floorplate.

The Canyon will be available in 6.5 CR, 6.5PRC, .308 Win, and .300 Win., 300 PRC, 28 Nosler, and .375 H&H.

It weighs a mere 6.2 - 6.5 lbs. and has a 22”-24" barrel length depending on the caliber.
